“It is what it is”, a self-initiated poster series by Linus Lohoff.
Linus Lohoff is a Barcelona based art director and photographer. He recently started this poster series named “It is what it is”. His aim is to constantly enrich the collection with new artworks. Each poster depicts abstract photo illustrations with the formal means of form, color, material, and light. The poster series represents his profession as an art director and photographer. Each contextual meaning has been removed in order to put the focus on certain details, allowing the spectator to place their own thoughts onto it.
The typography has been designed using Helvetica’s legible, geometric letters. In contrast to normal typeface, Linus Lohoff used round “i” dots in order to illustrate the playfulness and subtle aesthetic of his creative work. Below you can see the first 10 prints of the series.
